Bernice Lowe is a Chinese medicine practitioner with over 18 years’ experience. She has a keen interest in women’s health, including infertility, pelvic pain, hormonal imbalances and the digestive system. Graduating from UTS in 1999 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture, Bernice has since completed postgraduate studies in the Japanese style of Manaka acupuncture. She continues to deepen her knowledge in this field with ongoing studies with master acupuncturist Kikko Matsumototo. Bernice’s career in oriental therapies began in 1990 as a Shiatsu Therapist. She has varied and extensive interest in working with the body, having worked as a wholefoods cook, studied Tai Chi, dance, bodywork and yoga, and taught TCM remedial massage at UTS. She draws upon this knowledge and experience to compliment her work as an acupuncturist and Chinese medical practitioner as part of the allied healthcare team at WHRIA.
