Dr Yasmin Tan is a gynaecologist and women’s ultrasound specialist who provides empathetic, comprehensive gynaecological care for women. Her special interests are in vulval pathology and complex gynaecological conditions, particularly those affecting children and adolescents.
 
Dr Tan studied medicine at the University of Adelaide and then went on to train in obstetrics and gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. She completed further advanced training at the Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, and in the UK. She also undertook fellowships in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, and obstetric and gynaecological diagnostic and procedural ultrasound, as well as completing a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. She is a certified practising colposcopist with the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
 
Dr Tan is currently on staff at the Royal Hospital for Women. She is a conjoint lecturer with the University of New South Wales and has lectured at the medical school of the University of Notre Dame. Dr Tan travels to Moree with WHRIA colleagues to provide gynaecological services at PIUS-X Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre
