Kathleen Sweeney
Sonographer and laser safety officer.
Kathleen is a qualified sonographer with more than 20 years’ experience. She has worked with WHRIA since 2013. After completing her national ultrasound qualifications at Miami Dade College and Jackson Memorial Hospital (Florida, USA) in 1991, Kathleen went on to work in cardiac, abdominal, neuro-paediatrics, and obstetrics and gynaecology. She now specialises in working with women and their gynaecologists. Trained in the use of laser technology, Kathleen has is WHRIA’s laser safety officer.
