We have an experienced team to help support you before, during and after pregnancy. Fertility services help with pre-conception counselling, plus any help to fall pregnant. Once you are pregnant, we can provide a full supportive team including pelvic health physiotherapy, osteopathy and psychology. Obstetric medicine is available for higher-risk or more complicated pregnancies.
Obstetric medicine, similar to maternal medicine, is a sub-specialty of general internal medicine and obstetrics that specializes in process of prevention, diagnosing, and treating medical disorders in with pregnant women.

Dr Amanda Beech, Obstetric Medicine Physician. You can see an Obstetric Physician if you have a have a medical disorder and would like to fall pregnant, or are pregnant already. Amanda has a breadth of experience in preconception counselling, managing medical disorders of pregnancy including pre-eclampsia, gestational and pre-existing diabetes, thyroid disease and hyperemesis / excessive vomiting.
Amy Corcoran and Elizabeth Howard, Osteopaths with vast experience in treating women before, during pregnancy and afterwards. Pelvic girdle pain occurs in one in two women during the course of a pregnancy. We have developed a simple protocol to treat pelvic girdle pain that includes gentle manual therapy, home exercises and pain education. Liz Howard teaches Pain & Pregnancy courses to Allied Health Practitioners.
Sherin Jarvis & Ally van Schalkwyk, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists have completed many additional hours of training to help improve you bladder, bowel and sexual function related to pregnancy and beyond. Importantly, we can examine your pelvic floor muscles for any excess tightness and teach you how to relax these muscles for labour and delivery, and see you afterwards for any rehabilitation needs.
