“Shared Perspectives” Endo conference, May 16, 2015, SYDNEY

Endometriosis is a silent torment for thousands of women and young girls.  One in ten women suffer from Endo and yet most people have never heard of it.  Girls as young as ten miss out on school because of severe pelvic pain associated with Endo.  Diagnosis can take up to seven years. Endo often results in infertility. It costs Australia 7.7 billion dollars every year.

But there is good news on the horizon. A one-day conference is being held in Sydney on Saturday 16th May to update delegates: both consumers and health professionals on the latest trends in treatment and research. The conference titled “Shared Perspectives” is being held by EndoActive, a not for profit association committed to raising awareness, providing information and promoting early diagnosis.
